From April 22 to April 28, 2023, eleven students from the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology of the Poznań University of Life Sciences stayed on a trip as part of the Erasmus Plus program in the Czech Republic. Our students visited the Czech University of Agriculture in Prague. It was a very inspiring two weeks.
The trip participants had the opportunity to learn how forest management is conducted in the Czech Republic, both theoretically through university classes and during practical workshops in the forest. They had the opportunity to get acquainted with modern monitoring technologies and the protection of forest stands against insects. The busy program also included a visit to the cities of Kutná Hora and Prague. The last day was devoted to visiting the University of Agriculture in Prague campus, where they had a chance to visit the university brewery. We thank the University of Agriculture in Prague for such an active and pleasant time.
