The conference is co-finansed within the framework of Ministry of Science and Higher Education programme as "Regional Initiative Excellence" in years 2019-2022, project number 005/RID/2018/19
The organisers of the conference “Universities within the forests” are planning a publication in a book format containing information about European universities, which have forestry programs in their curricula. That is why we would like to encourage you to prepare and send us information about your university, which will be included in the publication.
The text should consist of three parts:
- history
- the scope of academic research
- didactics.
The whole text should not exceed 20 thousand characters and created in MS Word editor and saved in docx or doc format. Any pictures and photo should be sent in JPEG or TIFF format.
We would like to present to all participants of the conference with the book that is why we ask you to send all the necessary information by 30th June 2019 to 100years@up.poznan.pl or directly to the editor prof. Dariusz J. Gwiazdowicz (dariusz.gwiazdowicz@up.poznana.pl). Should any questions about the publication arise, please contact prof. Gwiazdowicz who will be able to answer them.
Registration
Registration of participants to the conference is done through a registration form.
The registration deadline is 30th June 2019.

Abstracts and paper proposals should also be sent through the registration form.
Fee
Conference fee is 160 EUR. The fee covers: conference materials, refreshments and snacks, conference dinner and a field trip. The fee is to be paid by 30th June 2019.
Participants delivering papers are exempt from fee. Moreover, Deans and Heads of institutes of forest studies (who officially represent their institute) are also exempt from paying the fee and the organizers will provide accommodation in a hotel.
Accommodation
Poznań has many accommodation opportunities at various standards and prices. Please be advised that there many events taking place in Poznań at the time of the conference that is why we advise you to book you accommodation well in advance.
The most conveniently located hotel for the conference participants is Hotel Campanile which has special offers and good prices. You will find all the necessary information in the attachment.
Deans and Heads of Institutes who officially represent their university do not have to book their accommodation.
